What we collect
When you submit an application or reach out through the site, we collect whatever you choose to provide — your name, email address, phone number, city and state, and the answers you give us about your household. We only collect what we need to have an honest conversation about placing a puppy.
When you visit the site, Vercel's analytics collects basic, anonymous page-view data (browser type, approximate location, pages visited). This is aggregate-level data only — no personal identifiers are collected for analytics.
How we use it
We use your information only to communicate with you about our dogs and our program. We read every application ourselves — there is no automated screening, no AI scoring, and no algorithm deciding who gets a puppy. A human (Brittany) reads every response and replies personally.
Who we share it with
Nobody, with two exceptions: Stripe processes payments on our behalf and is PCI-DSS compliant — we never see your card number. If you use our contact or application form, your submission may pass through an email delivery service (Resend) to reach us; they do not store or use your data.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. Period.
Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics, which collects anonymized traffic data. There are no third-party ad trackers, no Facebook pixel, and no retargeting on this site.
AI and automated systems
No part of your application is scored, ranked, or filtered by AI. Every application is read by a person. We may use AI tools to help draft responses or manage internal notes, but placement decisions are made by a human.
Your rights
You can ask us to delete any information we hold about you at any time. Just email us and we'll take care of it promptly. If you're in the EU or California, additional rights may apply — reach out and we'll handle it.
